Evenstar pattern

Evenstar is a luxury shawl or sleeve that will make you feel beautiful every time you wear it. Perfect for a couple of special skeins of yarn you've been saving this shawl uses lace and beads to create a lightweight sparkly garment that is perfect for all the celebrations and special occasions in your life.

You will need: 550m (600yds) of fingering weight yarn (you can also use laceweight yarn held double, but will need to buy double the amount of yarn. Recommended yarn: Manos del Uruguay Fino, shown in Ivory Letter Opener (2 skeins)

Approximately 620, size 6/0 Czech or Miyuki seeds beads in either complementary colours or high contrast colours

90cm (35.5in) of 1—2.5cm (0.5—1in) ribbon in organza or velvet cut into two lengths of 45cm (17.75in)

Knitted on 6mm (US 10) straight or circular needles and uses a 0.75mm or 1mm crochet hook for the beading.
